My young students experience a balance of learning by ear and reading as they develop excellent technique in an engaging way. I follow progressive repertoire while adding in songs from different styles in an effort to broaden musical understanding. On top of our normal activites, we'll engage in special projects around learning music from your community, self-selected music, and music that the students compose themselves. I am a believer in broad-natured exploratory learning and my ultimate goal is to help children develop a personal relationship with music.

Teen and adult cello students are guided in the development of healthy technique and a resonant singing tone as we work together to meet their unique personal goals.
